I have nothing against public schools I went to one. I couldn’t say I got the best education or I had the best teachers. I felt absolutely dumb in school.
I did not have the support at home so I never studied. We had a class of 400 students graduating and I was ranked 265 or something. This made me feel like I was stupid.
I went on and got other degrees, I can teach a classroom full of other peoples children but my children it’s a challenge. Why? Because it’s more than academics for the homeschooling family, it’s ministry!
Most things I learned in my formal education I don’t remember and while I’m teaching my boys I get to learn all over again. You see, the benefit isn’t just for them but for me also. I get to learn right next to them.
