I Homeschool Year Round by. Priscilla Crosby

Our society had become a string of labels! We label children’s abilities to remember and spit back out the information we so desperately need them know.

It’s obvious our educational system is broken, but no one know how to fix it. So we fix it with more labels, tests and demands. A few children do well under this constraint but many cannot.

We were the cannots. This was a daunting decision but we have not regretted it so far. Every now and again my mother will ask when are they going back to school. I know what I do is not the norm but I’m not known for being traditional.

Take a stand and be proud of it. Homeschooling is not for the lazy!
